Commonwealth v. Stupel
Client was charged with Retail Theft (shoplifting) in 2 different counties. The first case was dropped at the Preliminary Hearing and the client was given the ARD program for the second case, which will eventually be expunged after payment of fines and completion of 50 hours of community service.
“Miracle Worker: Mr. Klein was amazing! I had misdemeanor cases in separate counties. He got one case dropped and even though I had a little blemish from another state years ago he was able to get me ARD on the second case. These results just don’t happen! His fees were reasonable and he always remained in contact with me throughout all of the court dates. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to get the best possible outcome on their case. Additionally, he doesn’t make you unrealistic promises or give you ill advise. Trust me... you can’t go wrong hiring him!”

I highly recommend contacting Mr. Klein, he will not let you down!!”

Commonwealth v. Wynn
Client was charged with Speeding in a School Zone and was accused of travelling 35 mph in a 15mph school zone. The traffic citation was reduced to a zero point, non-moving violation which did not appear on the client’s driving record.
“Select the Very Best for an Excellent Outcome: Mr. Klein was exceptional from the start. I had a speeding ticket that would have resulted in a lot of points and potentially loss of license. He was very responsive, provided a good consultation, was polite and his office staff was exceptional when I had questions. He reduced my sentence to a fine, no points and I didn’t even have to go to court. So grateful for his help! I highly recommend him to anyone that has a traffic violation.”

Commonwealth v. Martellacci (DUI Case)
DUI case in which client was facing 3 days in jail and a 1 year license suspension. A suppression hearing was held and the Judge held that the officer did not have probable cause to stop client for tailgating. All evidence was suppressed and client was found not guilty.
"Ellis literally gave me a new lease on life. I was facing a DUI, which would have affected my livelihood, my freedom and which would have left me with a criminal record. It would have been impossible to find gainful employment with a criminal record. Mr. Klein was able to have all the evidence suppressed and the conviction overturned by challenging the officer's cause for pulling me over. He was very thorough, leaving no stone unturned. His demeanor in court was confident and knowledgeable. In a commonwealth of mandatory minimums he was my only hope. He saved my reputation and my family from facing serious economic hardship. Thank You."

Commonwealth v. Hellwig (Robbery/Theft)
Client was charged with Felony Robbery of a 7-11 when he smashed the front window and grabbed the cash register. Client has no prior criminal record. The charges were reduced from Felony Robbery to Misdemeanor Theft and client was sentenced to 1 year of probation.
Avvo client review: "I received a letter from Mr. Klein's office after I was released on bail following an arrest for a robbery charge. It was my first offense, yet it was a very serious crime that carried up to 10 years in prison. After just one meeting with Ellis I knew that it was in my best interest to have this man represent me. He was very reasonable and understanding, and quite knowledgeable in criminal defense. He made no promises, but assured me that he would do everything in his power to help me through this difficult time in my life. And he sure did deliver. We worked out a payment plan that he was very flexible and understanding with and to this day it was the best money I've ever spent in my life. He contacted me regularly to update me on changes, dates, case facts, etc. His staff was also very kind and courteous and always made me comfortable whenever I had to be at his office. And anytime I had questions or concerns, he was always available to answer whatever he could. When it was all said and done, I was given 1 year of probation. Quite a difference from the 6-24 months in prison the public defender had me hoping for. Ellis also ensured that my felony charges were dropped to less serious misdemeanors which will no doubt help me in my future. No words can express how grateful I am for Mr. Klein and all the hard work he put in to help me through such a difficult time in my life."

Commonwealth v. Myers (DUI case)
Client attempted to represent herself and the District Attorney denied entry into the ARD program for first time offenders. If found guilty, client would have received jail time and a 1 year license suspension. After ARD was denied, ARD reconsideration was requested and the District Attorney eventually reconsidered and placed the client into the ARD program in which the charges would eventually be dropped after completion of classes and community service.
"I thought I could handle the case myself given the information I received and the research I had independently done. WRONG. I thought my case would be simple, first offense, acceptance into the ARD program...but due to a detail that I had missed, not realizing that because of that detail the DA's office had some discretion in the decision, and the fact that I went about that process on my own, my application was rejected. It was at that point that I called Ellis to retain his counsel. He wrote an appeal letter to the DA to which we added many character reference letters at Ellis's suggestion. I know that without all of these letters an appeal would have gone nowhere and I would have had to withstand trial; he was able to negotiate with the DA and I was ultimately accepted into the program. I know now that I should have retained him right from the start; I was trying to save money, but his fee was very reasonable and well worth the investment. Thank you, Ellis."
