I received a letter from Mr. Klein's office after I was released on bail following an arrest for a robbery charge. It was my first offense, yet it was a very serious crime that carried up to 10 years in prison. Prior to contacting Ellis, I applied for a public defender because my family and I did not have the money to hire a personal attorney. The public defender I spoke to seemed very careless and told me I was most likely facing a maximum of 5 years in state prison and that my best case scenario would be 6 months to 2 years county time. I then decided to open the letter I received from Mr. Klein's office. After just one meeting with Ellis I knew that it was in my best interest to have this man represent me. He was very reasonable and understanding, and quite knowledgeable in criminal defense. He made no promises, but assured me that he would do everything in his power to help me through this difficult time in my life. And he sure did deliver. Not only did he have great suggestions to help me as a person, he also briefed me on what I could do to help my own case. We worked out a payment plan that he was very flexible and understanding with and to this day it was the best money I've ever spent in my life. I cannot say enough about Ellis Klein, I knew as soon as I met him I had made the right decision toretain him for my sons case. He was very honest and forthcoming and didn't make empty promises.He was very professional, but very real at the same time, made us feel very comfortable. My son was looking at 2 felonies and possible 5 yrs. in jail. In the end he got 1 year probation and the felonies were reduced to misdemeanors, which most of the time is unheard of. Ellis helped me immensely in handling a first-time DUI. Although I had refused to take a blood test, he was successful in getting me into the first time offender program (ARD) so that I could avoid a long-term criminal record and minimize the duration of my driver's license suspension. Because I was able to complete my community service, alcohol evaluation and Alcohol Highway Safety course as well as pay all fines prior to my court date, I was eligible for the (6) month ARD program vs. the (12) month program which was an immense relief. Ellis and his assistant Lindsey were very empathetic and responsive and Ellis is very familiar with the court system and its members in Bucks County.

I received a DUI recently and received a whole mess of letters from area lawyers offering their services. Ellis's letter stuck out because it was enclosed with a very informative book about the DUI process. I sought his free consultation and, because I work for lawyers, thought I could handle the rest myself given the information I received and the research I had independently done. WRONG. I thought my case would be simple, first offense, acceptance into the ARD program...but due to a detail that I had missed, not realizing that because of that detail the DA's office had some discretion in the decision, and the fact that I went about that process on my own, my application was rejected. It was at that point that I called Ellis to retain his counsel. He wrote an appeal letter to the DA to which we added many character reference letters at Ellis's suggestion. I know that without all of these letters an appeal would have gone nowhere and I would have had to withstand trial; he was able to negotiate with the DA and I was ultimately accepted into the program in exchange for a slight increase to my community service requirement. Ellis also represented me at my hearing (what would have been my trial) where I was able to see him in action. In addition to his solid and self-assured presence in the courtroom, he is charming and charismatic, and it is obvious that he has built a very good relationship with courtroom personnel on both sides of the bench. I know now that I should have retained him right from the start; I was trying to save money, but his fee was very reasonable and well worth the investment. In any event, it worked out favorably. Cannot Thank Ellis Enough!
I hired Ellis 6 months ago for my DUI case. He suggested ARD, as this was a first offence. He instructed I simply do alcohol related evaluations and other such classes along with community service. Once completed, we appeared before the judge, and I was granted pardon for my dreadful mistake. I will be on non-reporting probation for 1 year, and then the DUI vanishes completely off my record. I never plead guilty to the DUI and reserve the right to honestly state I have never been convicted of any crime, etc. on work related applications. Without the help of Ellis, my nursing dreams would have instead come to an abrupt and devastating end. Ellis was not only extremely knowledgeable, but very reassuring throughout the whole process. Ellis helped us with the arrest of a family member on drug charges. The charges carried severe penalties. Ellis helped our family member to gain admission into drug court, where upon successful (fingers crossed) completion, charges will be reduced to misdemeanors. Best DUI Lawyer
There is only one word that could describe Ellis Klein "THE BEST". Because of him I am on house arrest right now for only 30 days instead of doing 1 year in jail. I got my 2nd Dui in Bensalem earlier this year, I went and spoke with him about my situation and from day one he was honest with me and told me what was going to happen when we went to court. He came up with a plan for me that would give me the best chance in front of a judge. He was constantly in touch with me to make sure I was following the plan. When we went to court, I got a judge that does not give house arrest and was looking at jail time because Ellis knew the judge. I received paperwork in the mail regarding a bad check. It was a bogus claim with extenuating circumstances yet it needed to be defended. I received several letters from different attorneys wanting to defend me; however, I chose Ellis because his letter explained the law concerning this situation. I felt very comfortable right away because I felt if he had enough foresight to explain things in his letter, he would certainly do so in person. I WAS NOT WRONG!

An honest, and trustworthy attorney who saved my life!
I am a 24 year old college student who was arrested back in April 2013 for felony possession w/ intent to deliver, and criminal use of a communications facility in a school zone. Since it was a school zone, Mr. Klein informed me there is a mandatory minimum of a 2 year state prison sentence involved and there was a strong possibility of being sent to Graterford Prison. The first thing I noticed about Mr. Klein is his upfront honestly and knowledge about the criminal justice system and how he showed a genuine sense of concern for my well being. He made sure I knew the worst case scenario but also told me what I had to do in order to make the best out of this horrible situation. Since Ellis was a former DA himself, he has a lot of connections in their office, and also has a friendly relationship with the police department involved. Mr. Klein being the professional he is, returned every phone call I made to his office, and email I sent to him to make sure I felt comfortable and had my questions answered. After putting countless hours inside and outside of the courtroom, and diligently fighting to negotiate with the DA's office he was able to get me into a 30 day wilderness placement program which in turn dropped my felonies down to misdemeanors. I was told by police, and other attorneys that this was not even a possibility and I would be stuck with the felony for life, but thankfully that was not the case and I was granted a second chance. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of my case...
I am 27 yrs old and currently residing in queens, ny... I had an incident at the parx casino... It made the news, so I'm assuming it was a high profile case... You can read the article if you google my name, radik pinkhasov... I was arrested in bucks county and charged with 3 counts of felonies... Receiving stolen property, robbery, theft, and disorderly conduct... Given I have prior arrests and my record isn't squeaky clean, I was facing a prison sentence between 7-25 yrs... I was being held at the bucks county correctional facility... Ellis Klein came to my aid at the request of my father and explained to me that the charges were bogus and that we should fight the allegations... I have had bad experiences with lawyers and their empty promises in the past so I was a bit skeptical... He told me that he would go over the top to try and help me fight my case... Best possible outcome for a second offense.
I was arrested for a DUI, which was my second in 10 years, so it was tried as a second offense. I had a very bad experience with the lawyer from my first case (he was a very well know and expensive criminal attorney who clearly was doing DUI cases to make money without any effort and didn't even seem to know the law and what happened at court/immediately after the hearing). So, I was very careful in selecting my lawyer for this case, and I am very happy that I went with Ellis. He immediately instructed me to get to an AA meeting within the next week before we were able to meet in person. At our in person meeting, Ellis listened carefully to my situation and laid out the possible options, from best to worst case scenerios, and what he thought was the most likely outcome. He also made it clear that it really came down to the sentencing judge and that his understanding of the different judges and working relationship with them would guarantee me the best possible outcome. He also provided me with the best advice I could have received, which was to get treatment, treatment, treatment. So I did - I completed all of the court mandated treatment before the trial and went to an AA meeting 5-7 days/week. Essentially, I did everything I could have to present the best possible case. Ellis also made sure I had character letters and family, friends, and my AA Sponsor in Court as he found this to influence some judges. Based on Ellis's advice on what I should speak to and his presentation, I ended up with the best possible outcome the law allows, exactly as he predicted. Great traffic ticket lawyer.
I had a 35+ MPH traffic ticket which would result in 5 points and the loss of my license Ellis Klein got the ticket reduced to 10 MPH over the speed limit and I only received 2 points. He did a great job and I am extremely grateful for his services.

I hired Ellis after I was stopped for a DUI off of 95 in Bucks County. Over the course of the next few days, I must have gotten hundreds of advertisements in the mail. I received a first offense DUI in addition to going 85 mph in a 55 mph zone. With his experience and connections Ellis was able to get the speeding charge dropped, as well as a careless driving charge, and disregarding traffic lane. The kicker came when it was time for my preliminary hearing. I am not proud to say that I woke up unintentionally late for my hearing, in fact 15 minutes after I was scheduled to be there. I freaked out and called Ellis, he handled the situation and no harm was done. This doesn't mean you should skip out on your hearing, DO NOT MISS YOUR PRELIMINARY HEARING. Also, if he doesn't get back to you RIGHT AWAY do NOT be alarmed. He's a very busy man and has many clients, because he's the best.

Ellis Klein is diligent, capable, responsive, prompt, and effective. Though I'm a former prosecutor and could have represented myself, when I got a speeding ticket in Bucks County that threatened to put points onto my record I knew I needed to get a traffic lawyer who specialized in that particular court. I followed the Avvo ratings and was not disappointed. Mr. Klein and his associates discussed scheduling and the range of likely outcomes and were clear and up front about the fee to be expected. After getting a DUI in Bucks County, I called Ellis the following day. The first lawyer I tried calling practically dismissed my phone call, but Ellis took the time to explain to me what was going on, and how the process works. He did this in an honest manner, keeping me optimistic, but still realistic.

Excellent Legal Counsel
Having made a few horrible decisions, I found myself in need of legal support. As a result of drinking and driving(2 arrests/10 years apart), my career and livelihood were in jeopardy. Back in April I earned myself a speeding ticket worth $199.50 and 4 points. I decided to take it to court-my main concern was the points. I googled attorney's and called a few, most wanted outrageous amounts of money. Ellis Klein was the last number I called. ARD Denial Turnaround
I was charged with a tier 2 DUI in Pennsylvania (I live in NJ) and was denied ARD. Let me save you a lot of reading. I have read most of the reviews below this one. Every one of them is a strong recommendation of Ellis Klein, and for good reason - he is the absolute best. Ellis helped us with the arrest of a family member on drug charges. The charges carried severe penalties. Ellis helped our family member to gain admission into drug court, where upon successful (fingers crossed) completion, charges will be reduced to misdemeanors. I received a letter from Mr. Klein's office after I was released on bail following an arrest for a robbery charge. It was my first offense, yet it was a very serious crime that carried up to 10 years in prison. Prior to contacting Ellis, I applied for a public defender because my family and I did not have the money to hire a personal attorney. The public defender I spoke to seemed very careless and told me I was most likely facing a maximum of 5 years in state prison and that my best case scenario would be 6 months to 2 years county time. I then decided to open the letter I received from Mr. Klein's office. After just one meeting with Ellis I knew that it was in my best interest to have this man represent me. He was very reasonable and understanding, and quite knowledgeable in criminal defense. He made no promises, but assured me that he would do everything in his power to help me through this difficult time in my life. And he sure did deliver.
